In collaboration with NaviTrans, a Belgian expert on system solutions, LGT Logistics will launch a new digital platform handling transports and warehousing. The result will be better integration with the customers systems, more transparency and an even better control of the transports.
“We handle our costumers’ logistics, so it’s extremely important that we smoothly can integrate our systems with theirs. With our new platform, this will be considerably easier, and in addition we will be able to offer our customers both better quality and service”, says Håkan Nilsson, CEO of LGT Logistics Group.
The new platform enables even more effective planning and processes. And it makes it possible to add new services and a higher amount of control, which will give the customer added values like more detailed information about where their goods is located. Another benefit is that any deviation is detected earlier, which makes it possible to act fast.
“We are very happy that with LGT, another leading logistic company selected NaviTrans to support their business processes”, says Stefan Dedrie, Managing Partner and Commercial Director of NaviTrans.
“We are taking a giant leap forward and begin to implement the new platform for both TMS and WMS. And by choosing Microsoft Dynamics NAV we secure that we will be able to offer our customers the services they want also in the future, regardless of how fast the IT field develops”, says Håkan Nilsson.
