Strong increase in E-commerce flows & home delivery at LGT

Since the start of LGT's home delivery services B2C directly to private individuals, volumes have risen steadily and turn new records every month. In the current garden furniture season, the trend is even more clear.

"Demand is increasing for the whole spectrum of logistics services to consumers" says Niklas Danielsson, LGT business developer. "Of course, the volumes of the usual delivery home to the customer's door increase, but above all, the optional services such as delivery inside the home, depacking and assembly are becoming more and more popular."

Through the combination of its well-established furniture network and partnerships with strong subcontractors, LGT has established a nationwide network for home delivery of furniture and home furnishings, from manufacturer to consumer.
